Connect ChannelDock to e-Boekhouden.nl: every order a sales invoice

ChannelDock collects your orders from marketplaces and webshops in one place, but it passes on no VAT and books nothing in your administration. Schakel reads your ChannelDock orders and books them as sales invoices in e-Boekhouden.nl, at the VAT rate that fits the customer and with the sales channel order number as reference.

What travels across the link

Everything this connector moves between ChannelDock and e-Boekhouden.nl, and how often.

  1. Orders as invoices

Every order becomes a sales invoice with a line per item, shipping separate and the order number your customer knows as reference. You choose whether Schakel books once an order has shipped or already when it is placed.

  2. VAT per customer and country

ChannelDock passes on no VAT, so you pick the Dutch rate of your prices. With OSS a consumer in another EU country gets that country’s rate, an EU business customer with a VAT number is booked reverse charged and sales outside the EU as exports.

  3. Only the channels you want

You choose which ChannelDock channels are booked. That keeps a sale from getting two invoices if you also connected Bol.com or Shopify directly to Schakel.

  4. Credit note on cancellation or refund

If an order that was already invoiced is cancelled or refunded later, Schakel makes one credit note for the whole order. ChannelDock passes on no refunded amounts, so partial credit notes you book yourself.

What you get out of it

What ChannelDock to e-Boekhouden.nl saves you

  • Orders from all your channels arrive as sales invoices in one administration.
  • The VAT rate follows the customer's country when you use OSS, and reverse charge is recognised.
  • The sales channel order number sits on the invoice, so every entry is easy to trace.
  • Channel choice prevents double booking next to a direct Bol.com or Shopify connector.
In four steps

Setting it up

  1. 01

Create an API key in ChannelDock

You enter the e-Boekhouden API credentials. Schakel tests the connection right away and then books into your administration.

  3. 03

    Pick ledgers, VAT and channels

You pick your revenue and debtors accounts, the invoice template, the VAT rate of your prices and which channels are booked.

  4. 04

    Check the first invoice

Compare the first invoice in e-Boekhouden with the order in the sales channel. Once the total matches, the rest runs by itself.

Common questions

Is the ChannelDock to e-Boekhouden.nl connector available?

Request this connector and get access. You let us know you want to link ChannelDock to e-Boekhouden.nl, and we make sure you can get started. You hear from us within 24 hours.

Which orders are booked?

By default orders that ChannelDock marks as shipped, or if you prefer already when placed. Orders that are pending, on hold or cancelled are not booked, and only orders in euro.

Does Schakel also book fees, payouts or stock?

No. This connector books only sales invoices and the credit note on a cancellation or refund. Sales channel fees, payouts and stock synchronisation are outside it.

Do I get duplicate invoices if I also connect Bol.com or Shopify separately?

Only if both book the same sale into the same administration. In the settings, choose which ChannelDock channels are booked and leave out the channel you already connect directly.

Can I still book orders from before I connected?

That is possible from a start date you choose. Set it to the first day on which you made no manual entries.

Can you connect ChannelDock to e-Boekhouden.nl?

Yes. Schakel connects through the official APIs of ChannelDock and e-Boekhouden.nl, so you install nothing on your own server and nothing travels outside those two parties.

Which VAT rate do my sales get in e-Boekhouden.nl?

The rate is set per line: 21%, 9% or 0%. Sales to Belgium and other EU countries get the rate of the destination country, ready for your OSS return.

Are commission and fees booked separately in e-Boekhouden.nl?

Yes. Commission, shipping and other fee types each land on their own ledger account in e-Boekhouden.nl, rather than in one lump sum, so your margin stays readable.
