Connect WooCommerce

WooCommerce runs inside your own WordPress, so your sales data lives on your own server, but your accounting and marketplaces see none of it. Schakel reads your orders through the WooCommerce REST API and books them as sales invoices, while your inventory stays in step with Bol.com and your other channels. No extra paid plugin in WordPress, the connector runs outside your site.

What travels with WooCommerce

  • Orders into your accounting

Every WooCommerce order becomes a sales invoice with its own lines, shipping separated and the order number as reference. Coupons and fees land on the right line.

  • Inventory to Bol.com

Sell a product or variation in WooCommerce and stock drops on Bol.com and your other channels too, matched on EAN or SKU.

  • Customers and VAT

The customer is matched or created as a contact by email, and the VAT rate is set per line, including EU sales under OSS.

  • Refunds

A refund in WooCommerce becomes a credit note for the amount actually refunded, including partial returns.

Why connect WooCommerce

  • No pricey accounting plugin in WordPress, the connector runs alongside.
  • Your WooCommerce inventory and Bol.com stay level, so no overselling.
  • Every order is booked with the right VAT per line.
  • Works with variable products via SKU or EAN.

How it works

  1. 01

    Create REST API keys

In WooCommerce you generate a read key under WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced, REST API. You paste it into Schakel.

  2. 02

    Choose your destination

Connect your accounting for invoices and Bol.com for inventory. You set per ledger account and VAT rate where everything lands.

  3. 03

    It runs on its own

New orders are booked and stock pushed through without plugin updates or manual work in WordPress.

WooCommerce, common questions

Do I need an extra plugin in WordPress?

No. Schakel uses the standard WooCommerce REST API. You only create an API key, no heavy plugin that slows your site down.

Can I connect my WooCommerce inventory to Bol.com?

Yes. Selling in WooCommerce updates stock on Bol.com, matched on EAN or SKU. Request this connector and get access.

Do variable products with variations work too?

Yes. Each variation is recognised on its own SKU or EAN, so stock and invoices land on the right item.
