Connect Pay.
Pay. (formerly Pay.nl) processes both your online payments and your in-store terminal, across a broad row of payment methods, and settles in bundles where transaction fees are already netted off. Online and at the till run together, so reconciling by hand is awkward. Schakel reads Pay. through the API and books each payment, fee and payout separately, so revenue from every channel reconciles with your bank.
What travels with Pay.
-
Online and terminal payments
Payments from your webshop and from the terminal arrive with amount, payment method and channel, each linked to its source.
-
Transaction fees
The fee Pay. deducts per transaction is booked separately on its own ledger account.
-
Refunds and chargebacks
A refund or chargeback is processed as a separate entry for the amount actually returned.
-
Payouts
The payout that bundles your online and terminal revenue reconciles as a whole against the deposit in your bank.
Why connect Pay.
- Online and terminal revenue run through the same connection and reconcile together.
- Payouts match your bank even though fees are netted inside.
- Transaction fees sit apart, so your margin stays readable.
- No more splitting channels apart by hand.
How it works
- 01
Connect your Pay. account
In your Pay. dashboard you find the API token and service details under the settings. You hand those to Schakel.
- 02
Schakel reads online and terminal revenue
Payments from all channels, refunds and the payout that bundles them are pulled in, with the fees netted inside.
- 03
Everything is booked and reconciles
Revenue, fees and refunds each land on their own account, and the payout matches your bank entry.
Pay., common questions
Does Schakel handle both my online and terminal payments?
Yes. Pay. processes both on one platform and Schakel pulls in each, linked to the right channel, so your total revenue reconciles.
Does this line up with my Pay. payouts?
Yes. The individual payments and the payout that bundles them both come across, so the amount in your bank matches what you sold.
