Keep Stripe and Shopware updated automatically.
Today you download the Stripe reports and work out which payments, fees and refunds sat in today’s payout. With subscriptions the invoice date does not line up with the payment date either, so your periods never quite match. This connector fixes that, and we build it on request: what happens in Stripe lands in Shopware by itself, in the shape Shopware expects. Tell us what you need and we agree exactly what should travel.

What each side expects
Stripe and Shopware do not describe the world the same way. This is what has to line up.
Stripe
Stripe thinks in payments, refunds and payouts, each with its own id. Fees come off per transaction and subscriptions produce their own invoices, separate from when the money actually lands.
Shopware
A shop platform needs to point each line at a product, usually via SKU or barcode, and track stock per product.

Common questions
Can you connect Stripe to Shopware?
Yes. Schakel connects through the official APIs of Stripe and Shopware, so you install nothing on your own server and nothing travels outside those two parties.
What does the connector match products on in Shopware?
On EAN barcode or SKU. Those have to line up on both sides; anything that does not match automatically you map once by hand, and it is remembered after that.
Does the connector touch my existing Shopware orders?
No. Schakel only creates new orders in Shopware and leaves your existing ones alone.
Does this line up with my Stripe payouts, not just individual payments?
Both. Individual payments and the payout that bundles them come across, so the amount in your bank later matches what you sold.
What does connecting Stripe and Shopware cost?
You start free and only pay once the connector is really running. After that the same tiers apply as for any other connector, based on how much runs through it each month.
How often does Stripe sync with Shopware?
That depends on your tier: hourly on the free tier up to real time on the unlimited tier. You can always start a sync yourself as well.
Are the Stripe transaction fees included?
Yes. The fees Stripe deducts per transaction are handled separately, so your revenue and your payout no longer drift apart.
What if Stripe or Shopware is briefly unavailable?
Nothing gets lost. Schakel retries later and the log shows exactly what happened, so at most you notice something coming through a little later.
