Keep Kaufland and Shopify updated automatically.
Today you sign in to the seller account, look at what sold and carry it over by hand. What you already processed you track somewhere else. This connector fixes that, and we build it on request: what happens in Kaufland lands in Shopify by itself, in the shape Shopify expects. Tell us what you need and we agree exactly what should travel.
What this connector takes off your hands
-
Today you sign in to the seller account, look at what sold and carry it over by hand. What you already processed you track somewhere else.
-
Today you create orders in Shopify by hand, or you keep them out of it entirely. Either way your Shopify stock no longer matches what sold elsewhere.

What travels across the link
Everything this connector moves between Kaufland and Shopify, and how often.
-
Orders
to Shopify automaticallyEvery order becomes an order in Shopify with line items, matched on EAN or SKU, so you handle it all from Shopify without retyping.
-
Inventory
to Shopify automaticallyA sale updates stock in Shopify, so you never sell the same last unit on two channels at once.
What each side expects
Kaufland and Shopify do not describe the world the same way. This is what has to line up.
Kaufland
A marketplace supplies orders with their own order number and their own lines, plus returns and cancellations that arrive separately.
Shopify
Shopify needs to point each line at a variant, matched on barcode (EAN) or SKU, so those have to be right. Stock hangs off a location, so it has to be clear up front which location gets updated.

We build and test
You see the connector run on a few test records before anything becomes final.
What you need
- A seller account with API access, created from within the account itself.
- A Shopify store you own or where you may install apps. The connector runs as an app inside your admin, so you sign in through Shopify and need no separate account.

Common questions
Can you connect Kaufland to Shopify?
Yes. Schakel connects through the official APIs of Kaufland and Shopify, so you install nothing on your own server and nothing travels outside those two parties.
What does the connector match products on in Shopify?
On EAN barcode or SKU. Those have to line up on both sides; anything that does not match automatically you map once by hand, and it is remembered after that.
Does the connector touch my existing Shopify orders?
No. Schakel only creates new orders in Shopify and leaves your existing ones alone.
Do I still have to log into Kaufland once the connector runs?
No. Once it runs, everything you now look up in the Kaufland seller account arrives in Shopify by itself. You only open Kaufland when you want to check something yourself.
What does connecting Kaufland and Shopify cost?
You start free and only pay once the connector is really running. After that the same tiers apply as for any other connector, based on how much runs through it each month.
How often does Kaufland sync with Shopify?
That depends on your tier: hourly on the free tier up to real time on the unlimited tier. You can always start a sync yourself as well.
Does the connector also pick up Kaufland returns and cancellations?
Yes. Besides new orders, Schakel also sees returns and cancellations on Kaufland, so Shopify does not lag behind what actually sold.
What if Kaufland or Shopify is briefly unavailable?
Nothing gets lost. Schakel retries later and the log shows exactly what happened, so at most you notice something coming through a little later.
